Kit Description

Specific kit for the qualitative, rapid and targeted detection of Goat (Goat hircus) in meat products and work surfaces.

The meat supply chain is characterized by different products by type of raw material, by processing and by conservation.

Several DNA identification kits targeted for different types of meats have been developed for this supply chain, for GDO compliance and for those interested in gene traceability.

These kits assist in detecting and preventing fraud, and also to check compliance of products with relevant standards or with religious requirements.

The kit comprises

Reagents

For rapid DNA extraction and specific gene amplification with LAMP (LOOP-mediated isothermal amplification) technology; **

Badge (RFID)

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology that contains all the information pertinent to the kit, including the batch number and expiration date**

Tablet with ICGENE App

The kit is used with the ICGENE system, resulting in the real-time detection of Goat in the samples
